We're located in Ballantyne Village at 14815 Ballantyne Village Way in Charlotte NC; suite 240. We're on the second floor above Mahana Fresh on the left inside of Salon Lofts. Once inside we're loft #10.

You may park in front of the shops and resturants that are located inside of Ballantyne Village, but we recommend parking in the parking deck. Park on the second floor and use the connecting walk way to get to us. If all the parking spaces are filled you may park on any floor including the basement and use the elevator to bring you back to the second floor. We'll be on the left across from Jade Asian Fusion inside of Salon Lofts (loft #10).

We understand that unplanned issues can come up and you may need to cancel and/or reschedule an appointment. If that happens, we respectfully ask for scheduled appointments to be canceled and/or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance. If you're not able to cancel within the time frame all late cancellations will be charged 50% of the original service. Any appointments canceled within 4 hours of your scheduled appointment will be charged 75% of the original service. All No Call/No Shows will be charged 100% of the original service. If you cancel after your appointment time begins then you will be charged the same rate as a No Call/No Show. This fee is non-transferable nor refundable. DO NOT EMAIL THE SALON. You will receive a text reminder as well as an email reminder 48 hours (2 days) before your scheduled appointment. If you need to reschedule you may do so through the link that is provided through the reminder text or by email. Our booking system is down to the minute (meaning if your appointment is scheduled on Friday at 11AM, you have until Wednesday 11AM to reschedule through the provided link). We're a natural nail salon specializing in caring for the health of your natural nails. We do not offer acrylic products, which are both harmful to the health of our nail technicians, but also to overall nail health. If you would like to add length to your natural nail please book our Apres Gel-X Nail Extension service.

We're a natural nail salon so we do not offer any SNS or dip powder manicures. If you're looking for a product that has the strength of dip powder (without all the bulkiness) then we suggest that you book a BIAB Overlay Manicure. We use the iconic Gel Bottle’s Builder In A Bottle treatment as a stand-alone manicure which adds an extra strong layer of strength, structure and undefeated support to your natural nail beds. ​ This treatment is perfect for weaker nails, nails damaged from acrylic or dip powder manicures, or nail biters; or for those who want to grow their own nails in length. Our application will leave your nails with a refined protective layer.

Yes we do. We understand the damaging effects that applying and removing acrylics incorrectly can do for the natural nail. There is still a large percentage of nail salons that use acrylic that has MMA (Methyl methacrylate) which is very harmful to nails. Our Healthy Nail Transformation Manicure will help get your nails back on the path of healing. A highly effective new treatment that repairs damaged nails with the power of Keratin protein and moisturizing jojoba oil.

Methyl methacrylate, or MMA, originated in the dental industry for making crowns and bridges. It is also used as bone cement by orthopedic surgeons during joint replacement procedures, in some flooring products, resins, and Plexiglas. This chemical was not designed to come in contact with skin or nails. A large percentage of nail salons use acrylic powders that have this ingredient. Once applied to nails it begins to damage the nail by making the nail beds weak; causing splitting and peeling. Some people may find that their cuticles are having a chemical reaction by becoming swollen and red.

Digits And Spikes Nail Studio does require appointments, especially Thursday-Sunday! We accommodate walk-ins when possible, but we build our schedule around appointments. We suggest calling ahead if you have not booked an appointment before the day-of. Please note that we do require a credit card to reserve appointments; late cancellations will be charged 50% of the total cost of services booked, appointments canceled 4 hours or less of scheduled services will be charged 75% and no-shows will be charged 100% of the total cost of services booked. We know how easy it is to get behind, so please call us if you are running late for your service. We reserve the right to cancel or abbreviate appointments if you are 10 minutes late.

Yes, we do! We love nail art! Many of our nail stylists are extremely skilled in nail art and design! If you would like to book an accent nail or full nail design please be sure to request this when booking over the phone or add it to your appointment when booking online. If there is a certain design that you would like to request please include details under the "additional comment" section when booking online. Our instagram page is an excellent source for nail design ideas as we are constantly updating it with our work and inspiration. Please note that intricate accents or full designs will vary in price based on time and complexity.

Our pedicures sinks are propelled by a magnet mimicking a massaging jet sensation; this ensures you a safe and sterilize pedicure every time. We do not use dangerous razors and graters. We seek out the healthiest and highest-quality products! We carry a range of nail products and beauty items from industry leaders OPI and The Gel Bottle Co. Both brands are free of formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, camphor or DHP. We do not offer acrylic products, which are both harmful to the health of our nail technicians, but also to overall nail health. We constantly look for new products and methods that will help us offer the highest quality, healthy and safe service in the industry. We use higher quality, more health conscious products in our services. While these cost more, we believe they are well-worth it to provide our customers with a healthier experience. We continue to educate ourselves in new products, the newest trends, and maintaining a safe and sanitize salon.
